The Founder and President of TLS Financial Services, John Shelling has been providing his clientele of individuals, families, and business owners with successful solutions to their financial and estate needs for over 35 years.
After graduating from BCIT with his Diploma of Technology in Marketing Management, John travelled for a year, returning to begin his career in retail and commercial banking before entering the Financial Planning profession in 1987. While building his financial practice, John continued with his education obtaining professional designations as a Certified General Accountant (CGA) in 1987 and as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) in 1988.
Always an Entrepreneur, John was the founder of a successful Mortgage Investment Corporation and co-founder of a Securities Brokerage firm later acquired by a National company.
John currently lives in Saltair, on Vancouver Island with his wife, Tracy, and their dog and cats. He and Tracy are avid travellers and have touched foot on all seven continents. They enjoy boating, tennis, skiing, basketball, soccer, and occasionally, some scuba diving.

Ron attended the College of New Caledonia in Prince George, and graduated from the Business Administration program in 1976 and Computer Processing in 1977. He then spent three years working in the College’s computer department.
In 1980 he began working in the computer department at QM Bearings and Power Transmission, eventually moving into Finance in 1988 and Controller from 1990 until 2000. He has been at TLS Financial Services since 2002.
Ron oversees technical and administrative functions and processes.
In his spare time, Ron likes to go on long bicycle trips or can be found doing a variety of volunteer work.
Elaine comes from a Customer Service and Account Management background and streamlines our TLS systems and processes to ensure we provide you with the best service possible.
She lives in Burnaby with her two school-aged children along with two dogs and a mischievous cat. She enjoys hikes, running and gardening.

Gary Wallin is an IT industry veteran with over 30 years of experience using technology to assist a wide assortment of Canadian businesses. He has a diverse entrepreneurial background having successfully built and operated companies focused in software development, consultancy and MSP services in the IT sector.

Harondel has a long history of working with computers going back to the Apple II machine which enhanced his penchant for taking things apart and putting them back together to see how they work. This penchant led him to a career in technology and Harondel has been providing technical and consulting services to a number of organizations since the mid 90’s.
He has worked extensively with networking, servers, security, virtualization and various storage technologies and has a wide range of experience in the industry.
Paul Mycroft and his company, Market 2 All, have been providing website and email marketing support to TLS Financial since 2009.
